Our Little One

Rhyen turned 6 weeks old on Christmas Eve!I can't believe it, she is getting so big. She is so
aware now and is full of smiles. She loves watching the
ceiling fan and looking at everything around her.
We are so grateful that we were blessed with her in our lives.

After the blessing we went back to my parent's
house and had lunch and some fun

We had a dinner Sunday night for all the family that
came for the blessing. Thank you to our families

Rhyen's Blessing December 28th

First Christmas!

Rhyen's first Christmas was really fun.

We spent Christmas Eve with the Watsons and
Christmas day with the Kraucyks.
Rhyen was so spoiled by all of her presents.

Santa brought Rhyen this huge Minnie
Mouse for Christmas!

Everyone enjoys Christmas naps, and they are just
that much better when they are with papa.Special thanks to papa for getting Rhyen her
Cabella's pajamas.

sleep was like. I had energy today
so we did a little at home
photo shoot. I had fun but Rhyen
got tired of it fast.

She will be blessed on December 28th
in the Stockdale Ward at 11.

4 Weeks Today

Rhyen is 4weeks old today. It has gone by so fast. She

is starting to become more aware, looking all around

at sounds and people. She has started to watch

the toys move around on her swing too. We took her to get

pictures done today but of course we won't get them for

about 10 days. When I get them I will post them, but until

then this one will have to do.

Oh Christmas Tree

Here is our Christmas tree for 2008!
We spent our famliy home evening decorating

the tree and singing Christmas songs.

Our Lovebug had holiday spirit but was just too tired to see it through. Here is her first ornament, porcelain pink shoes, so cute!

Clay and I have a tradition that when we go on a

vacation we get an ornament and a magnet. Here are a few

of our ornaments we have picked up over

the past couple of years.

First Thanksgiving!

This year since we had Rhyen so close to

Thanksgiving we decided to stay in Utah. We cooked our

very first Thanksgiving meal. To our surprise

everything turned out perfect.

(we had a back up plan just in case)

Although we missed our family, it was nice to have it be

just the 3 of us for Thanksgiving!

Rhyen was dressed for the occasion!

Two Weeks Old

Rhyen is two weeks old today!
Today we did some tummy time for the first time
ever and to my surprise she loved it!

We Can't Wrap!

Ya know how you are supposed to wrap babies up so tight they

can't move? Well apparently Clay and I can't wrap.

About 30 seconds after we think we have wrapped

her the tightest we possibly can out come these little

hands. She's Houdini!

Bath Time

On Sunday we decided to give Rhyen her first bath at home.

Let's just say she doesn't like to

be any sort of naked. She does

however like her hair to be washed.

She is my child afterall!It actually has some curl to it, don't know

where that came from.

Homecoming!

Finally the wait is over! Our little miss got to

come home yesterday!

We were so excited we couldn't wait to get her home.

After watching CPR videos and her hour long

test run in her car seat they set us free!

After 9 days in the hospital we were happy to
see her, as Clay calls it, wireless!
